thanks chief. I have issue with signal strength indoor, and I wanna build a 700/1800MHz 4G+ antenna. I have already Mikrotik router with LTE class12 modem. Does the coax cable matter, please? I can squeeze about 3mm wire through out the old windows (old rented flat). I can't drill walls or window frames. I have some old 3G antenna with external antenna, and they have about 3mm coax. Any suggestions to this challenge? all standard coax cables have around 5-6mm

If this is not working the reason is many countries have different ,bands

You need to consider L/D of your element construction. At these freqs the effect is dramatic, as youve shown

Low frequency antenna 868mhz can cause all kinds of issues with living things like heart arrhythmia etc etc I know this because I operate a drone at that frequency and if I crack the power up to over 1w I get constant palpitations

I am going to build your antenna design for my 5G home router (Nokia Fastmile). I am curious if it would work just as well if I put multiple assemblies on one big back plane? I think I seen you do it with your biquad design so I am asking if you think it will also work on this design. I might do a 4 element array to capture all the diversity outputs in this router (and maybe a second one for the LTE radios). Thank you!

Hi Andrew, I was wondering is each coil the same as if you were making a single helical as far as spacing goes, so if you measured the winding of coil 1 to coil 2 would it be around 6mm? or is the spacing between the two coils still around the 12mm from coil 1 and the next wind coil 2. So basically asking is this still the same overall length as a regular 3 turn helical or is it the length of a 6 turn? Thanks!

Thanks for great video! I have question, Does it suppose to be (electrically) connected between two plates (PCB plates)? I mean, if I use a non-conductive 30 mm spacer, will it be better impact or worse impact to the antenna performance?
